As part of the programme accompanying the exhibition Maria Kozyrenko: Wherever You Are (8 May–20 September 2026), we invite you to a creative workshop on making motanki – traditional Ukrainian protective cloth dolls.
Led by Oljana Karpus, a Ukrainian art therapist and cultural project organiser, you will learn the traditional technique of making motanka dolls and create your own unique doll. The workshop leader is a Ukrainian art therapist and cultural project organiser who combines art therapy with ethnographic practices in her workshops.
Saturday, 12 September 2026, at 3.00 pm. Duration: 2 hours
Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Places are limited, so prior registration is required at: galerija@ciktrebnje.si.
The workshop will take place provided there are enough registrations.
