Program of the Trebnje Gallery of Self-Taught Artists for Summer Museum Night:
9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Creative pastel workshop: “Postcard of Trebnje: My Trebnje—My World.”
For children and families, organized in collaboration with mentors from DL Trebnje (Trebnje Artist’s Association). In conjunction with the thematic exhibition “Motifs of Trebnje” and the celebration of the local festival “Trebanjski koš,” we invite children to a creative workshop where they will reflect on what Trebnje means to them—whether here or wherever they may be. The children will create their own postcard. On the front, they’ll use pastels to depict their favorite motif from Trebnje, and on the back, they’ll design it like a real postcard—with a stamp, an address, and a dedication or message, such as: Greetings from Trebnje!

Performance by the Trebnje Music School
The concert will feature some of the students who are graduating from the Trebnje Music School. You’ll be able to hear: Vid Primc, piano, 8th grade; Mirjam Smolič, vocals, 6th grade; Bernarda Smolič, piano, 6th grade; Laura Vidic, piano, 6th grade; Laura Kaferle, vocals, 3rd grade.

Live painting with artist Tatjana Plahuta
A self-taught artist, she holds a degree in history and works as a screenwriter for documentary films. In the visual arts, she works as a self-taught artist; she translates her personal and social experiences into works that invite reflection through humor and irony.
